Questions Abound Over Role of NY State Police

The fallout continues from a New York Times report that Gov. David Paterson and members of his state police security detail had contact with a woman pursuing an order of protection against one of the governor's top aides. A former girlfriend of close aide David Johnson was pursuing a domestic violence claim against him. Now, Deputy Secretary for Public Safety, Denise O'Donnell, who oversees the state police agency, has resigned. This is not the first time allegations have been made against the state police and its executive detail. WNYC's Bob Hennelly spoke with Isaac Davy-Aronson about the role of the state police.
