No one likes to pay more for parking, but New York City has been quietly experimenting with variable pricing in Greenwich Village and Park Slope to encourage drivers to leave spots more quickly. Now more cities are looking to increasing parking rates as a way to ease congestion and bring in needed revenue. WNYC's Andrea Bernstein has more.
