The body of Rabbi Moses Teitelbaum has been buried. Teitelbaum was the spiritual leader of tens-of-thousands of ultra-Orthodox Satmar Hasidic Jews. He died last night at New York's Mount Sinai Medical Center where he was being treated for spinal cancer. Teitelbaum was 91 years old.
A funeral service was held in Williamsburg, Brooklyn last night, then observances moved on to an upstate community in Orange County called Kiryas Joel where the Grand Rebbe was laid to rest this morning.
