New York, NY —
Not to be outdone by presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney attacked Senator Hillary Clinton yesterday. The former governor of Massachusetts sent out several press releases, criticizing what he called "Hillary Care."
REPORTER: Romney also blasted the Democratic front-runner to the media outside Saint Vincent's Hospital in Greenwich Village. He said Clinton's plan was a far cry from his own universal care plan in Massachusetts.
ROMNEY: Mine is entirely different. Her plan is crafted by Washington, mine by individual states. Her plan has government insurance, mine has private insurance. Her plan raises taxes, mine does not raise taxes.
REPORTER: Romney said he was only contrasting his plan with Clinton's, but the sharp words come just days after Giuliani garnered attention for attacking Clinton on her Iraq war position.
