Throngs of protestors were in Morningside Heights yesterday to greet Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad before his speech at Columbia University. Ahmadinejad has denied the Holocaust and called for the destruction of Israel.

So what shocking remarks would he make at Columbia? Well, as it turned out, yesterday's biggest surprise came from Columbia's president, not Iran's. WNYC's Marianne McCune reports.
