Brooklyn Gets its Famous Clock Back

The scaffolding atop Brooklyn's tallest building is coming down and soon enough the borough will get its famous clock back. Brooklynites have been missing the giant clocks on the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building. They've been under wraps while the building is refurbished.

Now the clocks on the iconic tower are showing again, but the hands aren't quite ready for prime time. When the clock hands do get running again in a few weeks, engineers say that unlike in the past, they should all actually run on time. At least that’s what they told WNYC’s Soterios Johnson.
