At an emotional press conference at City Hall yesterday, Mayor Bloomberg announced his deputy mayor who's been the architect for this administration's long-term vision for New York City is leaving.
Dan Doctoroff has overseen economic development during one of the city's biggest building booms. He's going back to the financial world to become president of the mayor's media firm, Bloomberg LP.
