New York, NY —
One week after the astonishing downfall of Gov. Eliot Spitzer, his lieutenant governor - David Paterson - will be sworn in as New York's 55th governor.
Paterson has a tough road ahead. Spitzer's first year in office was marked by divisive partisan squabbling and the budget deadline looms on April 1, just two weeks from tomorrow.
WNYC's Elaine Rivera is in Albany for Paterson's swearing-in and she joins us now.
