Sarah Gambito: Poet, Mentor and Teacher

Sarah is a co-founder and Executive Director of Kundiman, a Filipino term for a patriotic love song, that now represents a network of writers and poets dedicated to the cultivation of new Asian-American writing. Sarah studied Creative Writing at Brown, did a fellowship at the MacDowell Colony and now teaches young poets at CUNY York and Baruch colleges.
