Cookbook author Mindy Fox spent part of her childhood growing up in Chicago, but she doesn’t hesitate to say that she prefers thin-crust pizza to the deep-dish pie synonymous with the Windy City. Maybe her answer has been influenced by the years she spent living in New York.

Fox still visits Chicago regularly and, during her 60-Second Stir-Fry, she expressed definite enthusiasm for the city’s signature hot dogs. 

When it comes to New York, she admitted that the best test she’s worked in is for the magazine she currently edits, La Cucina Italiana magazine. The fact that said test kitchen is in her own Manhattan home likely sways her vote a bit.

Fox showed relatively little hesitation during her time in the hot seat. She quickly knocked out answers to her favorite comfort food, culinary go-to, and vacation preference, as well as several other rapid-fire questions. Find out what she said in the video below.
