Writer Lizzy Goodman shares three of her favorite new releases: Avalanche from the Danish electronic soul duo Quadron, Personal Record from the singer and songwriter Eleanor Friedberger, and the latest from Vampire Weekend: Modern Vampires of the City.

On Avalanche, from Quadron:
