Actor David Morse  was recently on the Leonard Lopate Show to talk about his role in “The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin,” along with co-star Rich Sommer. He told us about his pizza allergy, and a few of the things he enjoys.

What have you read or seen over the past year (book, play, film, etc...) that moved or surprised you?

I loved the movie, "Once." I was not sure how I would feel about the musical. I loved the musical. A whole different experience of the story. Just a great theatrical experience.

What are you listening to right now?

Ray LaMontagne, Zac Brown Band when I am driving long distance, Kacey Musgraves, sort of, I can't get her onto my iPod.

What's the last great book you read?

I have read too many books researching roles recently to have a great book come to mind.

What's one thing you're a fan of that people might not expect?

I love bike racing. The Tour de France is one of the great sporting events in the world. But I love all bike racing when I get a chance to see it.

What's your favorite comfort food?

My favorite comfort food is pizza, and I am allergic to just about everything in it.
