No up-and-coming classical musician is more in demand right now than Yuja Wang. The New York-based Chinese pianist seems to be everywhere currently. In 2009 alone, she earned a Grammy nomination for her debut recording, was named Classic FM Gramophone Awards “Young Artist of the Year,” and made her Carnegie Hall orchestral debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra. She joins us today to share her latest CD, featuring Stravinsky’s dazzling Pétrouchka, and to perform live.
