Remember Us Unto Life

Airs Sunday September 19th at 6PM on FM 93.9 FM

Rabbi Ismar Schorsch and veteran public radio personality Larry Josephson will be back on the air in time for the Jewish High Holy Days, bringing listeners their special brand of engaging conversation. "Remember Us Unto Life" will explore the laws and customs of the season, with illuminating insights sure to capture the interest of Jews and the non-Jews alike. Beliefs and rituals surrounding the themes of self-reflection, atonement, forgiveness and renewal are examined in Remember Us Unto Life: A Jewish High Holy Day Special.

This rich dialogue between a secular Jew searching for meaningful connections to his heritage and one of the day's leading Jewish scholars is interspersed with the stirring melodies taken from the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur liturgies, arranged by Cantor Marcia Tilchin.

Rabbi Schorsch, Chancellor of the Jewish Theological Seminary, is a leading spokesman for the Jewish community. Larry Josephson is Peabody-Award-winning-public radio host and producer who's been heard in New York and nationally for 40 years.
