"I will play fair. And strive to win."

Mayor Bloomberg hosted a Tee-Ball tournament with the Roberto Clemente Foundation and Little League International this morning at Gracie Mansion. Before throwing out the first pitch with former Mets and Yankees player David Cone, Mayor Bloomberg recited the Little League pledge with the young players.

I trust in God.

I trust in God.

I love my country.

I love my country.

And will respect its laws.

And will respect its laws.

I will play fair.

I will play fair.

And strive to win.

And strive to win.

But win or lose.

But win or lose.

I will always do my best.

I will always do my best. Well done.

The fourth annual tournament drew dozens of five and six year old little league players from all five boroughs.
