Outdoor movie screenings are spread throughout the city in the summer time - from Bryant Park to the Socrates Sculpture Garden in Queens. Some of the screenings happen above the city's streets — Rooftop Films shows independent movies from all over the world, on rooftops throughout New York. Mark Rosenberg is the artistic director of the group. He says screening films outside makes for unexpected interactions with the city's landscape.
