New York, NY —
New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine held firm to his budget plan yesterday in a speech to the state's mayors.
Members of the New Jersey Conference of Mayors oppose Corzine's plan to cut aid to local governments by 10.5 percent. But, the governor says he won't waver in trying to fix the state's finances.
Lawmakers have until the end of June to reach a budget deal and Corzine joins us this morning to talk about his plans.
