Voting Underway in New York and New Jersey

Super Tuesday voting is underway in New York and New Jersey, two of the 24 states participating in primaries and caucuses today.

REPORTER: In New York City, a Democratic stronghold, the contest between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is tight, with plenty of voters heading into the voting booths still undecided. Angelo Pitillo voted near his home in Jackson Heights, Queens. He says the election has energized his friends.

PITILLO: People are engaged and excited and I've never known so many people who are on the fence up to the last minute and yet the people I know who are decided are frothing at the mouth.

REPORTER: This morning, Hillary Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, voted near their home in Chappaqua, and signed autographs for poll workers. So far, watchdog groups report no major problems at voting sites in New Jersey and New York. Polls close in New Jersey at 8, and in New York at 9.
