New York, NY —
A dentist, who treats celebrities, is suing Con Edison for damaging his practice by not letting him back into his midtown offices after the steam pipe explosion.
REPORTER: Dr. Bruce Haber is a cosmetic dentist who says he treats corporate CEOs, famous sports figures, actors and supermodels. He's filed a $25 million lawsuit against the utility, claiming he's lost money and patients.
REPORTER: Haber says he hasn't been able to get into the 42nd Street building across the street from Grand Central, since the July 18th explosion. Haber says he was turned away again yesterday.
REPORTER: Haber's lawyer says the lawsuit also accuses Con Ed of negligence because workers inspected the pipe at the point of the explosion and declared it safe, just seven hours before the explosion.
