Readers will have to dig a little deeper to buy The New York Times next month. The paper's price at the newsstand will rise to $1.25 on July 16th.
REPORTER: A spokeswoman for the paper says that home-delivery rates for the Times will jump about 3% to 4%. And cost of the Sunday Times will go up $0.50 to $4.
REPORTER: Last week, Dow Jones & Company said it's raising the cover price of The Wall Street Journal from $1 to a $1.50. Newspaper publishers are looking for additional ways to increase revenues amid a slump in advertising as marketers shift spending to other media and online.
