New York, NY —
Senators Robert Menendez and Charles Schumer are calling the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey "greedy" for demanding at least $30 million from a prospective buyer of port operations. Dubai Ports World warned that its deal to sell off 6 major city port operations to an American buyer may fall apart if the PA doesn't drop its demands. The PA is defending its fee. The agency accused Dubai Ports World and AIG Global Investment Group of walking away from negotiations.
