New York, NY —
It was another day of turmoil in New Jersey politics yesterday. After a series of revelations about his ethics, Acting Governor Donald De Francesco withdrew from the Governor's race, and former Congressman Bob Franks got in. Mr. Franks, who will inherit Mr. De Francesco's support from the Republican party establishment, still faces a primary June 26 against Jersey City Mayor Bret Shundler, and the winner of that contest will face Democrat Jim McGreevy. Joining Mark Hilan to sort this all out is WNYC political reporter Andrea Bernstein.
