Is New York City ready for its voters?

Just seven months from now, city voters will go to the polls in what might be the most contested set of elections in New York history. Unless a group of council members is successful in its efforts to repeal terms limits, there will be more than 40 contested primaries for Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate, Borough President, and City Council. Today, the Council holds hearings to ask: will the city be ready for the voters? WNYC?s Andrea Bernstein reports.
