Brian Lehrer discusses education with mayoral candidate Bill Thompson and a campaign aide for Mayor Bloomberg.
Thompson discusses an article in the New York Times, which examines his actions regarding Mayor Giuliani when Thompson was president of the Board of Education. He also talks about the future of public schools, and three things he'd do in the next four years if elected.
Brian goes on to discuss education with Chris Cerf, the former deputy chancellor at the DOE, currently working for Bloomberg's re-election campaign. Cerf speaks about the role technology and teacher training would play if Bloomberg is re-elected.
