A Thankgiving Special From WNYC's Archive: The Expedition of Lewis and Clark

"Lewis and Clark on the Lower Columbia" by Charles Marion Russell 1905.

While many travel home for Thanksgiving, we here at WNYC combed the archives for another travel tale. This one is inspired by excerpts from the diary of Lewis and Clark and their journey to the Pacific in 1804. It comes from WNYC's American Wanderer Series in 1946, with an introduction from WNYC's folk music icon Oscar Brand.
