"Adolescence," the limited series that premiered on Netflix last week, has become a global hit for the streamer. The story follows a 13 year old boy arrested for the murder of a classmate and is told from different perspectives--the cops, the family, the friends and mental health professionals. Each of the 4 episodes is shot in one take, giving it the feel of a play. We speak to Nicholas Quah, critic for Vulture about why the series has touched a nerve in such a big way.
