For decades, many visitors entering the American Museum of Natural History's Hall of Gems and Minerals thought of it as an indoor playground for toddlers instead of a showcase for rocks and precious stones. Now, after being closed four years for renovations, the exhibit once nicknamed "the Nanny Room" has been reimagined. WNYC's Danny Lewis got an early peek inside.
