Are New Yorkers Experiencing A Boom In Pandemic Pests?

Living in New York City means making peace with encountering the occasional cockroach. But since the beginning of the pandemic, some New Yorkers have been noticing more bugs around their homes.

"In 12 years, we've never had to use an exterminator," said one Brooklyn resident. "So that kind of gives you a sense." 

Have the bugs changed? Or are we just noticing them more, in our pandemic quarantines?
