Because writer Lawrence Weschler has written so often about the artist David Hockney and his depictions of Southern California fine living, he took note of the work of L.A. artist Ramiro Gomez whose paintings include the immigrant gardeners and pool cleaners who care for those immaculate scenes of L.A. luxury. Weschler is joined by the artist to discuss his new book, Domestic Scenes: The Art of Ramiro Gomez (Abrams, 2016):
