Assessing the First Post-Voting Rights Election

Tuesday's was the first major election since the Supreme Court rolled back key parts of the Voting Rights Act. States like Texas and North Carolina set up new laws that they say will prevent voter fraud, and critics say erect needless barriers to voting for many citizens. So what is voting like in the post-Voter Rights era? Wendy Weiser, Director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, discusses the analysis she did of the returns around the country.
