"Beginning Again": Syrian Refugees Find a Home in New Jersey

As of July first, Governor Chris Christie will no longer have New Jersey participate in the Syrian refugee resettlement program. Hear about one Syrian family that’s already settled in Elizabeth, with journalist and photographer Tom Franklin, who spent some time photographing the family's adjustment.

Franklin is an assistant professor in multi-platform journalism at Montclair State University and a multimedia journalist formerly with The Bergen Record.
