CEO of Firm In Charge of New York's Rental Assistance Program Boasted About Profits

New York state officials are expressing alarm after a new report uncovered the head of the consulting firm running New York's troubled emergency rental assistance program boasting about profits.

The Washington Post reports the CEO of Guidehouse, Scott McIntyre, told employees in November that the company had made 38% margins on its contract with the state, earning $115 million over six months in fees. Washington Post reporter Jonathan O'Connell spoke with Morning Edition host Michael Hill.
