Children and Radio - United Parents Association. Mrs. Rose Culbert, Chair of the UPA Radio Committee leads a discussion on Radio for Children. She shares her thoughts with Mrs. Estelle Bravarian and Mrs. Bell Cosmides. Culbert is concerned that children are listening to the radio past 8:30 at night. And they're listening to horror stories. She believes there are not enough good news shows for children. Culbert's pet peeves are those so--called comedy shows where someone curses and the audience thinks it funny."
