
Scientific Censorship? Climate Change Data Disappears Under Trump

In the digital age, the presidential website has become a significant reflection of an administration's agenda, so it's telling that climate change, a top priority under President Barack Obama, is nowhere to be found on the revamped WhiteHouse.gov website.
Victoria Herrmann, managing director of The Arctic Institute, a Gates Scholar at Cambridge University, and a National Geographic Explorer, has found that under the Trump Administration, her citations are being deleted.
Though some of the data provided on the Obama Administration's website has been archived for the public, Herrmann and her colleagues are alarmed by is the new message being sent by the federal government. While global warming is being pushed aside by the Trump White House, the coastal communities in the Arctic that Herrmann and her colleagues study are bracing themselves for the next major natural disaster to hit.
