In a world of endless deadlines and demands, there's a lot to be said for just jumping around to a beat.
On Tuesday at The Greene Space, WNYC's Arun Venugopal will be doing just that, risking life and limb (or at least his remaining dignity) when he joins the national champion Double Dutch group the Honey Bees on stage.
He'll also be in conversation with ethnomusicologist Kyra Gaunt, whose TED talk "How the jump rope got its rhythm" has been viewed millions of times. They'll be joined by choreographer Camille Brown about her own TED video on the history of African-American social dance.
Audience members should be prepared to move!
