Country singer/songwriter Billy Joe Shaver will be playing songs from Long in the Tooth, his first new album in six years. Shaver first entered into public consciousness four decades ago, writing 10 out of 11 songs on Waylon Jennings’ landmark album, Honky Tonk Heroes. His songs have since been sung by Johnny Cash, The Allman Brothers, and many other landmark musicians, and his song “Live Forever” was included in the award-winning hit movie Crazy Heart.
