Mayor F. H. La Guardia talks about Nazi claims they will have a V3 rocket able to reach to the east coast of America. He says if the Nazis think they can intimidate the American people they are wrong and he explains differences between the V1, V2 and V3 rockets. La Guardia says more people can be harmed by panic than the bombs and that panic is to be avoided. He says there is nothing to worry about because "we're making all necessary precautions" and "we're studying the situation." La Guardia is confident war will end and "the Nazis are licked." He warns If the Germans drop V3 bombs on New York City, he does not care what the eventual peace treaty will provide for, "we won't have any dealings with anyone from 'Naziland' for 100 years.
