Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in "Friendship House," which is the Y.M.C.A. building in the World's Fair grounds, adjoining the colossal George Washington Statue, erected by the YMCA of the City of New York. The dedication of this building "to the honor of God and the service of youth" is underway. Mr. Richard W. Lawrence, President of the Association is presiding. The dedicatory address will be made by Rev. Frederic S. Fleming, D.D., Rector of Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church of New York. But first we will hear from the Southernaires, who will make one of their famous renditions of a song which is perculiarly fitting to the occasion. The Southernaires singing Deep River.

5:59 Announcer: you have just heard the address of Rev. Frederic S. Fleming, Doctor of Divinity of New York dedicating the YMCA building at the World's Fair. Mr. Richard W. Lawrence, President of the YMCA of the City of New York and presiding at the ceremonies, which are being held in the great social room of the YMCA's World's Fair building. This building has been provided by the YMCA of the City of New York as part of its augmented World's Fair program for young people of all nations. And now we present Mr. Richard Lawrence, President of the YMCA.
