Singers Earl Wrightson and Lois Hunt join host Robert Sherman to celebrate both WQXR's 50th anniversary on the the air, and Mr. Wrightson's 50th anniversary in show business. The program is an hour of conversation and popular songs. Selections include works by Lerner and Loewe, Kurt Weill, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Paul McCartney, Noel Coward, Mitch Leigh, Rodgers and Hart, and Cole Porter. The show's intermission feature is an interview with Tom Pendleton of the Dome Project, a youth center in New York.

The program, sponsored by Chemical Bank, was recorded at the New York Times Auditorium before a studio audience.
