The city of Philadelphia last hosted a Democratic National Convention (DNC) back in 1948 when the party selected Harry Truman as their nominee. It was a hot political circus, and it was the very first time the DNC was televised across the country.
Though a lot has changed since then, the event may once again become a political circus. Over the weekend, Wikileaks published 20,000 emails that showed that Democratic Party leaders favored Hillary Clinton during the primary season and plotted to sabotage the presidential campaign Senator Bernie Sanders.
