Eva Moskowitz is a polarizing figure in the world of education reform. As a former City Councilmember and now in her role as CEO and founder of Success Academy, she has advocated for using charter schools as a way for disadvantaged children to succeed academically. In her new memoir The Education of Eva Moskowitz, Moskowitz writes about her battles to bring charter schools to the five boroughs, and how she has run up against opposition including from Mayor Bill de Blasio.
