
Yesterday an FDA advisory panel approved what would be the first drug ever to address low sexual desire in women. But Dr. Leonore Tiefer, a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine, says the drug's results are dubious at best, and that solving the problem of female sexual dysfunction is more complicated than popping the little pink pill.
Dr. Leonore Tiefer says communication is the key to better sex -- and "relying on a pill is a last resort."
