How to Fight Bigotry...With Delightful Posters
Negin Farsad, an American comedian, actress, writer, TED fellow and filmmaker of Iranian descent and American comedian Dean Obeidallah, host of The Dean Obeidallah show, of Palestinian-Italian descent discuss launching their campaign — "Fighting-Bigotry-With-Delightful-Posters" — in the subway stations of New York City in response to a right-wing activist group that spent $100,000 on a series of anti Jihad posters and ads on MTA buses and subways.
"We think using comedy is so much more effective in countering hate," says @Deanofcomedy on the "delightful" subway ads they're hanging.
