Talk: "Fish dinner talk" by Fiorello La Guardia

Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia in May 1936.

Mayor La Guardia speaks at a dinner at Whyte's restaurant on Fulton Street hosted by the Fishery Council. Noting advances in distribution, transportation and keeping, the Mayor suggests that fish isn't just for Fridays anymore. Not surprisingly his comments are met with enthusiasm.
