Ian Schrager, one of the co-owners of Studio 54, and director, Matt Tyrnauer, join us to discuss the new documentary about the legendary club titled, “Studio 54,” which opens October 5 at the IFC Center.

 

The Museum of Modern Art and The Art Institute of Chicago are presenting the first major museum retrospective of artist Charles White’s work in over 30 years. Esther Adler, curator at MOMA, and Ian White, Charles White's son, join us to discuss the exhibit and the nature of White's work. Terrance McKnight, host on WQXR, will also join us to discuss the playlist he curated for this exhibit at the MOMA. The retrospective will be on display at MOMA from October 7th, through January 13th.
