Reid, longtime correspondent for The Washington Post and author of A Fine Mess: A Global Quest for a Simpler, Fairer, and More Efficient Tax System  (Penguin Press, 2017), says our Byzantine tax code is due for a major overhaul. He traveled around the world to find sensible, efficient tax systems that the United States could emulate. Hear his recommendations on how to simplify the system, cut tax rates and still make sure the government has plenty of money to keep on humming.
