Cuomo Mulls A Delay On Indoor Dining And Drinking

New York City is expected to enter Phase Three of the re-opening plan next week. But it may not be as comprehensive as other parts of the state.

After COVID-19 spikes in other parts of the country were linked to bars and restaurants, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he might hold off. He says New York City is more complicated than other parts of the state.

"It's just not indoor dining alone," the governor said during a press conference. "It's indoor dining, in New York City, where you already have issues with high congregations."

Cuomo says he'll announce a plan Wednesday. New Jersey has already said it will delay reopening indoo dining, which was supposed to begin on Thursday.
