
Taxes—who has to pay them and how much—is a major point of contention in this fall's presidential contest. Donald Trump overhauled the tax system in 2017 and has promised more, unspecified tax cuts if he's re-elected. Biden says he'll raise taxes on the wealthy and on corporations, while reducing them for the middle class.
