Across the city, New Yorkers gathered to listen to Prince last night. WNYC's Arun Venugopal was one of them.
"I was completely blindsided by my feelings after learning about Prince's death," he says. "I hadn't really expected to feel so strongly about this news." So he went to Brooklyn Bowl, where Questlove was hosting a tribute to the musician.
"I found people who were celebrating. They were having a great time, dancing until very late in the night, acting as if he never died — and he never would."
