Elisabeth Ryden Benjamin, Vice President of Health Initiatives at the Community Service Society, joins us to give our listeners a guide to the “new” ACA. She’s also the co-founder of Health Care for All New York Campaign (HCFANY), a statewide coalition of over 170 organizations devoted to securing affordable, quality health care for all New Yorkers. Elisabeth will explain that while much of the process is the same, the actual sign-up process will look very different as a result of changes made by the Trump administration. She’ll also discuss the confusing effect of the Trump administration’s termination of cost-sharing subsidy payments, which will increase insurance premiums across the board.
